Prithvi Raj Chauhan of Ajmer and Delhi

Prithvi Raj Chauhan of Ajmer and Delhi

It is a different day today, friends, countrymen, brothers, today I am a happy man. To portray the history of a man who impacted the world more than any of us possibly will ever do, is beyond the authority of mere mortals.

Here stood a king who could have cooperated with the invaders. Who could have enjoyed a life of luxury which would make Mohammed Shah look like a hermit. He choose the path of the sword, path of honour, the path which was most dear to his ancestors, the mighty Chahamanas.

Prithvi Raj Chauhan of Ajmer and Delhi: It is a different day today, friends, countrymen, brothers, today I am a happy man. In Ramyana it is said Kaushalya was splendid by the birth of Shri Raam like Aditi was splendid by the birth of Indra… Without question, Prithvi Raj Chauhan enhanced the splendor of the motherland like the great serpent-slayer Purandara enhanced that of Aditi, the mother of the Gods, and the Rajas. It takes a body made up of nothing but purely metal to withstand the storm he did, and certainly it takes a mind no less robust to appreciate the depth of his personality. A prince who was warrior in every sense, son of the great Chahamana emperor who grew up weighing the might of the entire world with his sword from the very day one. He is who cultivated the land of Hind with his own blood, a blood so pristine, so divine, that it, not the 7 great rivers, were the primary barrier against every invader. We will never forget our hero, our brother, our inspiration #RajputSamratPrithviRajChauhan
