Corona virus (COVID-19) cases are increasing rapidly in India. According to the latest data, more than 2.46 lakh cases of corona virus have been reported in the country so far. The death toll from corona in the country has also risen to 6,929. With this, India has now become the fifth most affected country in the world. According to the latest data from the Health Ministry, a record 9,971 cases of corona virus have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this time 287 patients died in the country. At present, there are a total of 2,46,628 cases of corona in the country, of which 1,20,406 are active cases while 1,19,293 people have been cured.

Preparing to airlift 115 trapped laborers in Leh

The Jharkhand CM office has informed that the Jharkhand government will start the second and third airlift from Leh from today. The flights will land at Ranchi Airport on 8 and 9 June. 115 laborers trapped in Sarkar BRO (Border Roads Organization) are being sent back to distant projects in Nubra Valley, Diskit and Chunthu Valley.

48 new cases in Rajasthan in last 24 hours
